🪵 Vinification & Aging
The grapes are harvested by hand and strictly selected .
After fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 10–15 days, the wine is aged for 5 months in French oak and then for 12 months in cement tanks —a method that adds depth and minerality without weighing it down.
🌿 Terroir & Vines
The vines grow on 23 hectares of calcareous, clay and gravelly soils at the foot of the Tuscan mountains, at altitudes between 400 and 620 metres .
Densely planted plots, 20-year-old vines, and a southwest exposure ensure concentrated, aromatic grapes with a distinctive personality.

Andrea Franchetti was a visionary.
He acquired the remote estate in the 1980s and, after a formative stay in Bordeaux, began planting vines in this remote corner of Tuscany in the early 1990s.
His philosophy: to combine the Bordeaux understanding of structure and depth with the passion and sunshine of Italy.
Today, Tenuta di Trinoro is considered one of Italy’s most legendary producers.
A wine that shows that greatness comes from patience, respect and courage.
