For us, one of the most beautiful wines from Toro, it is one of the stars of the DO Toro and is vinified by the skilled hands of Bodegas Mauro. The San Román, which has been one of the most impressive wines in this region blessed with excellent qualities year after year since 1997. A fascinating wine that offers a stimulating play of aromas of black fruits, cherries, tobacco and ripe blackberries on the palate. The aftertaste shows a strong backbone with present tannins. The late harvest takes place in late autumn to give the grapes the ideal ripening time. The bottling took place after 24 months of maturation in old French and American oak barrels.

Goes very well with braised dishes, steaks and mature cheese.
