Le Cupole shows dark fruit intensity and an impressive range of aromas with cherries, blackberries and plums. A hint of sweetness in the mouth, a finely accentuated texture with a phenolic density and structure that gives it volume and excellent aging potential. In addition, there is a price-performance ratio at this level, which is unrivalled in Tuscany.
The Tenuta di Trinoro winery vinified a cuvée made from Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grape varieties at Le Cupole. The 21-23 year old vines are cultivated at an altitude of around 450 - 600 meters and then matured in large French barriques and cement tanks after the harvest.

Andrea Franchetti acquired the Trinoro estate in the south of Tuscany in the 1980s. In the 1990s he planted the first grape varieties. He chose Bordeaux varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
