🌿 Weingut Goldenits – Organic out of Passion

The family winery Goldenits is located in Tadten, Burgenland, in the heart of the Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel National Park. For over 125 years, the family has dedicated itself to viticulture, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern insights.

Since 2007, all vineyards have been organically cultivated. Instead of systemic pesticides, the winery relies on extensive experience, careful observation of the vines, and natural care with oils and soaps. High planting density, consistent yield reduction, and gentle processing of the grapes ensure characterful organic wines with elegance and origin.

On just 15 hectares of vineyards, multiple award-winning wines are produced with much manual work and passion, authentically reflecting the unique terroir of Burgenland.

Vinification

The grapes are carefully harvested, processed under CO₂ protection, and chilled. After partial whole cluster pressing and a short maceration period, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine matures on fine lees, which gives it its freshness, elegance, and fine structure.
