Gragnano, located between Naples and Sorrento, has been known for its pasta since the 16th century. The unique combination of mild climate, sea air, and pure spring water from the Lattari Mountains creates ideal conditions for pasta production. Pastificio Gentile , founded in 1876, takes advantage of these natural conditions and produces pasta using traditional methods.

Caserecce uses only high-quality Italian durum wheat semolina. The dough is pressed through bronze dies, giving the pasta its characteristic rough surface—perfect for absorbing sauces. The pasta is then slowly dried at low temperatures to preserve flavor and nutrients.
