The K + K Kirnbauer winery was founded in 1975 and has approximately 40 hectares of vineyards. Many know Kirnbauer for its legendary "Phantom"—with this wine, the family business made Austrian winemaking history in 1987: It marked the beginning of cuvée culture.

A dark garnet-red blend of Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Cabernet, and Syrah; a complex, interesting nose with intense blackcurrant and wild berry aromas; delicate roasted aromas from barrique aging combined with delicate floral notes; elegant cassis fruit and dark cherry on the palate; very refined and full-bodied with a long finish.
