🪵 Vinification & Aging
The grapes come from five plots – Quintana, Boada, Guzmán, Valcabado and Pedrosa – and are hand-picked.
After fermentation, the wine is aged for 20 months in French oak barrels and then matured in the bottle for 12 months .
The result is a wine that perfectly combines structure, maturity and elegance.
🌿 Terroir & Origin
The vineyards are located on calcareous, stony soils at high altitudes – between 720 and 1100 m above sea level.
The climatic contrasts between hot days and cool nights promote slow ripening and exceptional aromatic density.

Carmelo Rodero 's story began in the 1980s when he sold his grapes to Vega Sicilia – Spain's most famous winery.
In 1991, he and his wife founded their own bodega , which is now run by their daughters María and Beatriz .
With over 140 hectares of vines, sustainable cultivation and an uncompromising quality philosophy, Rodero stands for elegant, modern Ribera wines with soul .
