Shoyu Ramen broth is another vegan option in our broth range. It's not just of interest to vegans, but also to anyone who values optimal iodine intake. For this unique broth, wakame seaweed from Spain and shiitake mushrooms are mixed with cold water and heated to 80°C. After simmering for a full 10 hours, the broth is seasoned with rice vinegar, salt, and beet sugar and bottled under sterile conditions.

This vegan broth delivers an umami bomb of mushrooms and seaweed, then rounded off with the finest organic shoyu (the traditional Japanese soy sauce made from soy, wheat, and sea salt). This delivers the full flavor without added animal products, making it a base for your ramen or simply a quick Japanese soup with a gentle caramel note.
