The garlic for Black Garlic Shoyu Tare ferments for weeks until it finally takes on its signature black color and forms a wonderfully aromatic fusion with soy sauce, caramelized ginger, and chili. Then it's gently stirred for a long time until all the aromas and flavors have infused into the sesame oil, and then heated to a maximum of 50 degrees Celsius. The slightly spicy Black Garlic Shoyu Tare not only adds a kick, but actually defines the character of a ramen broth.

A little bonus tip: For ramen, simply soak soft-boiled eggs in the tare overnight - it's delicious!
