🍷 Amarone Classico della Valpolicella Sant’Urbano – Depth, Warmth & Elegance

Deep dark ruby red with rich, dense aromatics. On the nose, dried cherries, figs, plum compote, and a hint of cocoa and chamomile.

On the palate, it presents as soft, full-bodied, and complex, with perfectly integrated sweetness, ripe tannins, and a long, warming finish.

🪵 Vinification & Aging

After harvesting, the grapes are dried for over 100 days, losing up to 50% of their weight – this concentrates the aromas and sugar.

Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine matures for 24 months in 500-liter oak barrels and another 12 months in large Slovenian wooden barrels.

Before release, it rests for at least one year in the bottle – for absolute harmony.

🌿 Terroir & Origin

The grapes come from the famous single vineyard Sant’Urbano – 19 hectares at an altitude of 280–350 m, with calcareous, volcanic soils and a high clay content.

These soils retain moisture and give the Amarone its unmistakable minerality and depth.
